Siam Park guide: rides, height limits and getting there
Siam Park is the water park in Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, next to the TF-1 motorway. It opens every day at 10:00am and closes at 6:00pm from 1 May to 29 October and at 5:00pm the rest of the year. It has adrenaline slides such as the Tower of Power, a wave pool with waves of up to 3 metres, a one-kilometre lazy river and its own children's area. The park runs free guaguas (buses) from Las Américas, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje, and parking costs €7 if you drive. Allow a full day.
The opening hours, prices and rules in this guide are those published by the park as of October 2026. They change with the season, so check the official Siam Park website before you go.
Siam Park rides and attractions
The park recreates a Thai kingdom, with wooden pavilions, temples and tropical planting, and groups its attractions into three types: adrenaline, family and relax. Sunloungers, parasols, rubber rings and life jackets are included in the ticket, subject to availability. The minimum heights given are those on the official website.
Adrenaline
- Tower of Power: the park's signature slide. A near free fall from 28 metres high, at speeds of up to 80 km/h, ending in a transparent tube through an aquarium with rays and predatory fish. Minimum height 1.49 m and age 12.
- Saifa: a two-lane water coaster, each lane 306 metres long, with 360-degree turns; you race another rider down. From 1.25 m.
- Singha: a 240-metre water coaster with 14 changes of direction. From 1.25 m.
- Kinnaree: a hybrid slide of just over 200 metres combining a funnel, a section through vegetation and a final wave wall. From 1.25 m.
- Dragon: a vertical funnel ridden on rings for up to four people. From 1.25 m.
- The Vulcano: a slide in total darkness, on four-person rings, ending inside a volcano with a laser light show. From 1.25 m.
- Mekong Rapids and Patong Rapids: group raft slides; Patong alternates dark sections with stretches open to the Atlantic. From 1.10 m.
Family
- The Giant: two funnel slides ridden on a ring. From 1.25 m.
- Jungle Snakes: four tube slides, some open and some enclosed, on single or double rings. From 1.10 or 1.25 m, depending on the slide.
- Naga Racer: a 100-metre racing slide to ride side by side with family or friends. From 1.10 m.
Relax: river, beach and wave pool
- The Wave Palace: a wave pool of more than 13,500 m² that, according to the park, produces the world's largest artificial wave, up to 3 metres high. The waves break on the white sand beach, so you can watch the show without getting in. The park rents out the pool for private surf sessions, booked through its sales department.
- Siam Beach: a white sand beach beside the wave pool, with sunloungers and parasols.
- Mai Thai River: a one-kilometre river crossing the park with slow and faster stretches and a relaxation area. From 1.10 m; below that, with a life jacket.
- Sea lions: at the entrance, a pool with sea lions you see on arrival.
- Floating Market: a shopping area themed as a Thai village, with snacks, sun cream and souvenirs.
The Lost City, the children's area
This is the space for the youngest: towers, bridges, nets, waterfalls and 15 slides in all, plus a baby pool that the park describes as the only one in the Canary Islands. It is open throughout the park's opening hours and has no minimum height, so it is where children under 1.10 m spend the day.
Opening hours and how long to allow
- Summer hours (1 May to 29 October): 10:00am to 6:00pm, every day.
- Winter hours (30 October to 30 April): 10:00am to 5:00pm, every day.
- Time needed: a full day. In high season the main rides have queues and there is not enough time to repeat them all.
The park opens whenever the weather allows. If it has to close because of weather conditions, the ticket price is not refunded.
Getting to Siam Park
The park's free buses
Siam Park runs its own free double-decker buses, collecting visitors every day in three areas:
- Las Américas: Calle Llanos de Troya, Best Tenerife and C.C. Presidente.
- Los Cristianos: C.C. Pasarela and Sol Arona.
- Costa Adeje: C.C. The Duke Shop, C.C. Fañabé Plaza and Villa Adeje Beach.
The first departures are around 9:30am and the last in the early afternoon (between 1:00pm and 2:00pm, depending on the stop). Return buses start at 3:00pm and there are several until closing time; between 15 June and 31 August there is an extra one at 6:30pm. Times depend on traffic, so check the full timetable on the official website.
Paid bus from the north and the west
If you are staying further away, the park offers a paid bus service (€21 per adult and €17 per child; free for ages 0 to 2, as of October 2026) that must be booked at least 24 hours ahead and confirmed by phone:
- From the north: every day, with stops at hotels in Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Úrsula, Santa Cruz bus station (Intercambiador) and Las Caletillas. It reaches the park around 10:30am.
- From Los Gigantes and the west coast: Thursdays and Sundays.
- From Golf del Sur: Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The return leaves the park at 5:30pm in summer and 5:00pm in winter.
Public bus and car
- From Santa Cruz: TITSA line 110 to Costa Adeje bus station, then about 15 minutes on foot.
- From Los Gigantes: line 477 to Costa Adeje bus station, then about 25 minutes on foot.
- From Puerto de la Cruz: line 102 to Santa Cruz bus station, then line 110.

Tickets, prices and the Twin Ticket
Siam Park sells dated tickets on its official website and at the ticket office. Prices vary by day and sales channel; check the current rate in the official shop before buying. Indicative prices for Siam Park and Loro Parque, side by side, are in the comparison Loro Parque or Siam Park. In high season, buying online for a set date saves you the ticket office queue.
The Twin Ticket combines one visit to Siam Park and one to Loro Parque. It is not in your name: at your first entry you are fitted with a wristband that cannot be removed, and to enter the second park you show the Twin Ticket QR code while wearing the wristband. It is valid for 15 days from the first visit.
Fast Pass and VIP cabanas
- Limited Fast Pass: priority access once per ride. Sold only at the ticket office on the day of your visit.
- Unlimited Fast Pass: priority access with no limit on uses. Sold online and at the ticket office on the same day.
Neither includes the Tower of Power or the Mai Thai River, nor park entry. Both come on a personal, non-transferable wristband, are valid only for the chosen date and cannot be changed or cancelled. Sales are limited, so they sell out on busy days.
The VIP cabanas include the benefits of the park's all-inclusive package. As of October 2026, the VIP Cabaña costs €660 for 4 people, the VIP Casa €990 for 6 and the VIP Villa €1,320 for 8, with €165 per extra person on request.

Eating at Siam Park
You cannot bring food or drink in. If you have some with you, the park stores it for €3 during your visit and it can only be eaten in the designated picnic area. Inside there are several outlets: The Tea House (teas, coffees and crêpes), Sweet Siam (cakes and ice cream), Thai Bar (cocktails overlooking the river), Beach Club (chicken and burgers on the beach), Beach Bar (barbecue and hot dogs) and Coco Bar, on Coco Beach.
Rules worth knowing
- No re-entry: once inside, you cannot leave and come back in.
- No refunds: the park does not refund tickets once bought, including when it closes due to weather.
- Limited sunloungers, parasols and lockers: arriving at opening time is the best way to get them.
- Weight limits: on Jungle Snakes and The Giant, 110 kg per person on a single ring and 180 kg shared on a double; on the other rides, 120 kg per person depending on the number of riders on the ring.
- Safety: lifeguards' instructions must be followed and each ride has signs with its rules.
Best days and tips with children
The park's website gives a water temperature of 24°C, so swimming is pleasant in winter too; what you notice is the air when you get out, especially with wind or cloud. May, June, September and October usually combine good weather with fewer visitors than July and August, and weekdays are quieter than weekends and school holidays. The Tenerife weather by month guide details temperatures and wind.
- Arrive at opening time and head first for the rides with the longest queues (Tower of Power, Saifa, Singha, Kinnaree); leave the river and the beach for midday.
- Measure your children before you go. The difference between 1.10 and 1.25 m decides which slides they can ride and avoids disappointment in the queue.
- With children under 1.10 m, the day revolves around The Lost City, the baby pool, Siam Beach and the edge of the wave pool.
- Claim a sunlounger and shade early: they are free but taken in the first few hours.
